Hey guys! This blog is for all those people who have lived in hostel at some point in their lives .
I lived in hostel for 4 years and these are the top 5 types of roommates in girls' hostel .
Lets Start!!!
1) The Angel
She is an epitome of roomie . She is the girl we wish for as our roommate .She is an angel .
This kind of roomie will clean your room , turn off the light when you fall asleep , will take care of you when you fall sick , will cook for you and will even help you study and score well . And above all she will never expect something from you . She is totally selfless , and will never fight or feel bad for anything damn thing you do . So who ever has a roomie like this , guys you have done something really nice in your past life !!
2) In A Relationship !!
I empathize with all the girls whose roommates are or were In A Relationship. I have been in your place and it was like hearing to "meethi baatein" everyday , Yes! Everydayyyyyy... (Even if you wake up accidentally at 3 a.m. ). She will never do the cleaning , will include the name of her boyfriend in every sentence of hers , will video chat or talk on phone till 5 in the morning and it will be like 3 people are staying in your room . If you have to think whether your roomie's webcam is off while changing your clothes in your room , you know that your roomie is this type .
But there are some good points also !
*You will have the room to yourself till the hostel limit :)
*Occasionally you will get to taste good food , which she will prepare for her boyfriend with love .( Only Taste !!! ) .
Well that's all the good things i can think of :|
3) The MOM
She is of the same age as you but way too mature !
She will take care of you like a child . Will prepare maggi for you ( even during exams),
She will keep track of all your friends and will strictly advice you to stay away from the "bad guys". Your parents trust her more than you , and will give you permission to go out only if she is there with you :(
So u kinda always have someone to take your pics and will help u pick clothes which is a huge help !
So altogether she like a good roomie to have , but really one MOM is enough !
4) The Soft Toy
Ok this is like too common . We are new to college and hostel life and we are allotted rooms and roommates . So, sometimes people click and in most cases don't . In that case you end up having a soft toy roomie. She will be there but won't talk . You just come to your room to sleep or study . Her presence is equivalent to having a soft toy in the room which just lies by your bed side . Ok ! Now you will say i hug my soft toy and sleep at night . Agreed .. just consider her as soft toy given by a person you don't like anymore like your ex-bf , just can't throw the it away!
So guys, if you have this kinda roomie , just try for once to talk . For sure you will enjoy your hostel life more :)
5) The Scandal Type
From the title you can make out she is the famous one ( But not in a good way ) .
She is the hot girl we all envy , so we talk bad about her :P .
She is the one with a long list of boyfriends.
All the guy friends will ask you to set her up with them .
Even your crushes are into her :x
But , there are a lot of rumours about here and some are true too !( Not the good ones).
You don't like her because your hostel entry limit has been reduced due to something she did .
But still she is the one guys fantasize about ! Can't do anything :(
